Thanks for this, I plan to quit soon and I was actually going to give them a couple months notice just because I thought it would be nice, but lately they don’t like me much anyway and that’s probably the last thing I should do!

I just got my walking papers as a 6 year science teacher who is over paid at $44K, yes that money is a joke so I come here for a great laugh.

I am filling out my resume as I look to leave this field and feel inspired to make up some titles for all the committee’s I’ve been on over the last five years.

We were also told of our lay off Friday as we were leaving for home. Everyone got an envelope on their way out of the building whereby the school doors were locked behind us. NO less Clark County School District on their website needs teachers they are LAYING OFF.

Talk about bullshit. No reasons given for layoff or explanation. Top teacher pay is $115k and she is coming back!! HA, ya gotta love these bean counters!
