Restructuring Bullshit:
New Org Chart
Please note that the [development group] has been redeployed under our new Director of Forward Markets, [name]. Those previously under [name] have been moved to our Customer Service division. The new division created, the [division name], will be staffed as noted by the dotted lines in the diagram. We are currently searching for a new Director to oversee the group, who will be then hiring in his/her team of three developers. This Org Chart superceeds the one distributed last week showing only two divisions.

2 Emails Received...
It has come to VP of Development [name]'s attention that the snack table in engineering has has exceeded $400 a week in costs. This is unacceptable, as we are trying to cut costs. A monthly budget for snacks has been allocated and when it's out, it's out.
Next email only minutes later:
Please welcome our new Project Manager, [name], he will be guiding our [project], which is already in progress. Please everyone assist him in getting up to speed.
[ed: I wonder how much this new, green Project Manager costs the company a week? And what is a Project Manager anyway? Seems like only Project Managers seem to know. I wonder how this guy scores on our quiz?]

People used to beleive being tall equalled success in business. However, being able to walk with your head below 'the cubicle line' is a big asset! Who's going to refuse work (or worse...ask you for a raise) when you've slipped in without warning in the middle of their IM chat sessions? Being a short manager is not a challenge - it's a big value-added!
